Digitas 24 is an association born from the desire to amplify the voices of people with disabilities in the digital, cultural, and educational spaces. We aim to reduce disparities in access to information, knowledge, and culture in a practical and sustainable way.
We were established in 2019 in Belgrade.
What we do
We build a network of collaboration between:
organisations for people with disabilities
schools and other educational institutions
cultural institutions and media
experts from various fields
Through our projects, we focus on:
digital and audiovisual accessibility
inclusive education
economic empowerment of young people
Our activities include:
workshops and training sessions
conferences and festivals
audio description (narrating images and action in audiovisual content)
development of teaching and educational materials in accessible formats
Our values
Our mission is to:
Promote digital and audiovisual accessibility across all areas of life.
Provide support and education to people with disabilities, their families, and organisations.
Connect experts, institutions, and the community around practical solutions.
Contribute to creating an inclusive and accessible digital environment for everyone.
We strive for a society where:
Educational, cultural, and media institutions plan for accessibility from the very start.
Digital content is designed to be screen-reader friendly, understandable, and available in multiple formats.
Blind and partially sighted people, and deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, take part equally in education, culture, and the labour market.
Assistive technologies and accessible formats should be the norm, not the exception.
How we work
We actively involve teachers, accessibility specialists, designers, developers, sign language interpreters, and other collaborators.
We always start from the real-life experiences of people with disabilities and their families.
Our materials are designed to last and are shared via conferences, webinars, blog articles, and public events.
Help us make a difference
We are building an accessible digital world together. You can get involved in the way that suits you best: as a volunteer, partner, or donor. Every contribution helps create more accessible materials, more training opportunities, and more adapted cultural content.

Since 2017, she has been actively involved in audio description: she launched the first website in Serbia dedicated to audiovisual accessibility, initiated the first panel discussion on this topic, published professional articles on audio description, and contributed to adapting cultural content for people with visual impairments.
